Work Experience
Work experience is important for getting into any career. Having some can make you stand out from the crowd on applications for courses, training and jobs.
Work experience weeks for our Year 12 students will commence from Monday 28th June – Friday 2nd July 2026.
Tutors will be helping if students need assistance and advice, and letters of application can also be done during tutor time in school. Parents/carers, students and employers are being contacted via letter and email to confirm this situation.
For help and support with securing a WEX placement, please contact Careers@holyrood.bep.ac and a member of the careers team will be in touch. More information including possible work experience placements please follow the Careersatholyrood Instagram account which posts possible placement updates weekly.
Please find a guide for parents and carers regarding Work Experience, the process,
what support there is and how parents and carers can help their child secure a placement.
The Student Application Form needs to be complete to confirm a placement.
Please hand this to Mrs Knight in the Sixth Form.
Deadline for new placement forms is the 28th May 2027 to ensure we have time to risk assess and collect the necessary paperwork before the placement.
